Father had found the story and videos of Dr. Jonathan Reed.
He had been hiking with his dog, when the dog started barking and attacked a creature, biting its arm. He shouted for the dog to let go, but it didn't help. The dog yelped and was suddenly torn apart. He leaped and whacked the head of the creature, nearly killing it. Then he took his camera and started filming.
He took the body home and found it to be alive. There was this device on the alien's arm that probably got triggered when the dog attacked it.
After making it public, there had been several attempts to kill him. He was locked in a hotel room, which was then set on fire. He was shot with a hollowpoint round, his friends were killed, everything about him was erased from the databases and he had to change the country.
Haven't watched all the videos yet, there's a lot of interviews, sound recordings of the alien and clips of the "ship" that he found hovering near the spot where the alien was.

I couldn't really see anything in that video and the guy hyperventilating for 4 minutes became quite annoying. If this guy is on the run why is he bothering to copy-write his photo? Its an interesting story if true. Also if the story holds correct the Alien was defending itself from an attacker no more than any of us would do in its situation. Not to say any of us would do that to a dog IT would be good to have more information on this story.

I feel sorry for the dog, the alien, the man and his family & friends.
I think that the dog most probably attacked the device while it was emitting something that was unbearable for the dog. Being bitten, the device might have turned on in some random way.

A sound recording of the alien communicating with Reed. It may seem that it acquired a telepathic link with him and overwhelmed him with the flow of information.
In one of the videos he described the "link" device. On the inside, the surface seemed like made of carbon fibre fabric or something, which was always humid. There were also some needles in the fabric, which would penetrate the skin when put on the hand.
