I just wanted to start a discussion about the importance of sleep to success in focused pk. I have found that getting a good sleep helps the mind and brain to process the required information for successful pk. I read somewhere that while one dreams the bodies energy points or chakras open to receive "Etherial" energy. This charges the life force in the body. While this is one perspective I have been monitoring m success rates based on the amount of sleep I receive or fatigue I have.
At the very least my focus improves and I have a better perspective when training after a good nights sleep.
I just wanted to see if anyone else has noticed this.
I realise not everyone trains everyday however I am interested to know if this is a common experience for people.
This makes perfect sense to me. I haven't been keeping track of it regarding pk, but I can say that I keep track of it for scholastic reasons.
You learn better, have better memory, and better outlook on things in general when you've received the proper amount of sleep. WHY this is, I don't know for sure and don't think anything conclusive has been shown.
Since those tasks require brain power of differing sorts, it makes sense the pk would follow the same pattern.
i also would like to add to this cause i got plenty of sleep yesterday night and woke up early next morning but as i was sleeping i had dreams of levitating a rubber strip like belt, and also dreamt that i was sitting in a seat andi was being told to relax and tell what you wat the chair to do infront of you. then i sat there and thought to myself as i visiualized the movement of the chair then i said move softly and as u know it the chair rocked forth then back. i believe my subconcious is opening up to the possability of being able to move things just by thought alone. i felt so good this morning and later on in the day fell asleep again and had another dream about demonstrating myself levitating fathers plate of food i tell you it felt as if it all were real.
P.S. i belive that is first steps to being able to harness our abilities is through the subconcious then into reality!
Any time I've dreamed of pk, it wasn't like what I do waking (that may tell me something). I wish I had the vocabulary to describe it, but I'll try. I've had the same type of dream since adolescence, although they only occur every so often.
Things are usually levitated, rather than moved. Unlocked for common good (keys locked in car or house kind of thing). It's almost always a real-world application, never for testing purposes, never for fame, but sometimes to expose people to the reality of another world besides the eyes (definitely not for tv) . It's more of an active approach in some aspects, but totally dependent upon the connection with the object.
It's a strange sort of connection where you're completely linked to the item, yet also seemingly completely conscious of the whole thing. There's an element of control to it where you direct the item, which seems to move on it's own, yet is still guided by the thought in "real-time" with a sort of assistance also given by me.
There's a power of sorts, not domination, but energetically powerful may be a better way to describe it. There's no direct meditation involved, no planning, no warm-ups. It usually involves using my hand(s) to connect, focus my thoughts, and direct the object. It happens so fast, there isn't a distinction between the three "events".
All right, that's about it. I don't want to write a novelette here.
I would like to say that I can relate to this feel of the pk dream that you have described. More often than not my dreams involve my astral body being able to levitate however in dreams where I have done pk I can even say I felt regret for the tree who's limb I snapped off in my amazement at the mastery I somehow had of pk ability.
