I really want to do that perhaps we can link put a link to an external chat program? I don't believe this feature is supported through the foum provider. Any ideaS>?

i got a idea shirak, we should use tinychat. it can be embedded into this forum, make a forum post named chat room and embed the screen in it

I was just looking at http://tinychat.com this looks like a video chat. It may not be the best one for some users because of privacy issues. Ill have a look at Chatsy as well.

Ok Ive just tried Chatsy and made this link though Im not sure how it works. Does anyone else want to research and set up a chat room and post a new forum portol?

oh no shirak you dont have to use a webcam if you dont want.. it has a text box , audio, and webcam.so if you dont want to use a webcam or audio just use text box

also if you don't want random people to come in, you can put a password on the room and put the password on here

I've just edited the link as per your request as this is a development thread once we all agree on a chat we will post it as a new thread. We should try a few different chat programs to see whats best. Also we should name the Chat Psychokinesis or league of psions or something lol

hey i got more ideas for the forum. i was thinking that if everyone would get windows live messenger we could stay in touch and talk whenever. windows live messenger has it all, it has audio/webcam features and can connect with everything like yahoo,facebook,hotmail,youtube, and more. also you can create groups on it so we all can really stay in touch.

i have windows live messenger and skype but skype uses to much memory unless you have a super high tech computer smile
