There seems to be a lot going on lately in terms of disasters. In a weird way, they seem to be picking up in frequency as well as variety.

Since it seems a lot of us cruise ATS from time to time, and SHTF scenarios are often presented there, i was wondering if anyone here has a prepared bug-out bag?

If so, can i ask a few questions?

1.) What is in your bug-out bag, and why?

2.) Do you think you will ever need to use it?

3.) If yes, for which reason or scenario do you think you will need to use it?

4.) And just for funsies, how would you apply your PK and other skills like such, in a survival situation?

Does no one really have a bug-out bag? Or any plan of action in case a world-wide disaster happens?

Not really sure what a bug-out bag really is.

But I've learned from experience that planning ahead won't really help unless you know exactly what is going to happen and what you'll need for it when it does.
Going with the flow and doing what you can as events unfold, unless you're clairvoyant, is probably the better action to take.

Bug-out bag is a prepared bag of essential supplies set off to the side and ready to go in case of emergency where you have to leave in a hurry.

But I've learned from experience that planning ahead won't really help unless you know exactly what is going to happen and what you'll need for it when it does.

Interesting. I have actually found the opposite to be true. Planning ahead, even if the scenario that was planned for doesn't come to pass as you expected it, has helped immensely. But that is just me.

I was really getting into all these dissaster theories a couple of months ago, because its plain to see that there are definately things going on with the earth, at the moment,

I took a little while for me to see that the more i subscribe to these theories then thats what i am expecting to see, expectation = event happeneing, so now, i just let it all go, whatever will be , will be, i think alot of the chaos at the moment is probably due to the shifting energies heading into the zero point of 2012, the end of the 26000 year cycle, , this energy sure does feel electric! and is only going to get stronger!

A lot of these theories look more like an over-inflated panic to me. I really don't believe = don't want to believe that there are any serious disasters coming. Don't buy a crappy future like this .. let's manifest a better one smile . We could start it with a "Requirements Specification" by describing functional and non-functional features that shall be there. Some concept art and we should be off for a better future.

I really like this idea we should start a better future thread where we can post positive intentions for the world and organise a future construct to counteract the negativity being projected in the world. It only took a few people meditating in New york on peace to drop the murder rate. It was so successful the cheif of police asked them to do it more often. Ill try nad find the link to the story.
