Why not decide that for yourself, from your own experience:)
I have a question for you though. What is remote or distant PK, if not an OBE? For that matter; what is telepathy, RV, & yes, even a run of the mill dream, if they are not OBEs of varying degrees?
In a normal dream, you experience your senses & an environment in another reality. You can even have this experience from reading a good book though.
I could go deeper, but I would rather suggest again that you decide for yourself what the boundaries of reality & consciousness actually are. Ask yourself if it's possible that the premises of your question hold assumptions about the nature of reality that you might be taking for granted.
What is a dream..really? What is consciousness? Everything you experience, & I mean everything, is happening as your own mental interpretation.
Whatever answers you come up with; test them out, for yourself, & don't worry about what others think. Your own mind & experiences are the only ones that matter:)

very informative, thank you owl12 i still need growing :). i did not relies how controlling idealism can be when you grow up with it so long. in other words OBE is what i make of it not what other assume it to be. but with that being said, how does one teach OBE's by given the bare minimum to teach how to do it and then have the person determine it for them selves?
and what if i never come to find out what a obe is to me, is that bad or good or is good and bad just a idealism? and if to just be able to do it and not understand it such a bad thing is concept :) gave me something to ponder thx
