well it wont effect any other country but american at first because its targeting the corperations use in america however if other corperations lets say in your country wnt to do deals they might have to follow the acts. thank your american empire :D(sarcasm)

Ron Paul is the only candidate that seems to reject this bill that I know of. Sadly I am in Australia so am unable to vote for him.

In Europe, there's the problem of

ACTA (Anti-Counterfeiting Trade Agreement)

The worst thing about it is that it's not detailed enough. Also, for some reason, they tend to discuss the agreement in secret, without exposing it to the experts.

Our prime minister just said ACTA is one of the best agreements to sign. And that everyone who protests against it, should wear folium under their hats, have a bath with bubbles or seek for mental aid.

Fortunately, it seems that most of our government officials are against it, taking experts into account.

Edit: Or not. There's no way they would be that naive about this. I suspect they may have been bought. I really hope they wouldn't just go ahead and apply ACTA, ignoring the protests and everything. On the other hand, it looks really logical that's what they would do.

From the looks of it, it might mean the end of democracy.
