There are a few questions that have boggled my mind for a few years and some that just popped up now:

  1. Some describe the process of their Kundalini awakening as a snake moving up the spine and leaving through the Crown. What exactly happens when the serpent leaves? If one becomes free from the blockage, how would they control the flow of Kundalini? That is, could one get their serpent back after the awakening?
  2. If Kundalini awakening is defined as a process, when could one consider their Kundalini awakened? What happens after it has fully awakened? Or does it always awaken more and more?
  3. If enlightenment is defined as a process, when could one consider themself enlightened? What happens after they have been fully enlightened? Or is this also an infinite journey on the path of enlightenment rather than just an event worth striving for?
  4. Is Kundalini awakening needed for enlightenment or vice versa? Or does one always accompany the other?
  5. The process of enlightenment would span a multitude of lives (while the gained knowledge and understanding accumulates), right?
  6. The process of enlightenment can't be defined for a single person, can it? As we all consist of different aspects of the same consciousness, then it's the whole consciousness that becomes more and more enlightened as everyone progresses on that path?

I feel there are more, though, that's already a lot. aww

I am excited to answer these questions, thank you Sussch I will do my best to explain these things to you!

1. The Kundalini is at the base of your spine right now, when it awakens it will move up the spine to the top of the head. Once it reaches the top it will turn around and go back to the base of the spine, it never actually leaves your body.

The Kundalini is a huge mass of energy and as such is not easily controlled, if you try and control it at an early stage of development like I have in the past you could black out and feel stomach sick like I have among other things.

The kundalini will not kill you, it wants to rise up the spine and have you become enlightened. If guided properly it will treat you as its darest friend like a loyal dog. But if kicked and constantly abused it could cause damage to your body and mind.

The blockages are the Granthis which lie in your spine, as the kundalini breaks through these it is allowed to move further and further up.

2. Once the Kundalini is awake it is awake and will continue to be that way. It is sometimes hard to tell when your Kundalini is awake and at other times easy. My guru had to tell me mine was awake and that it pierced the first blockage while his other student experienced an incredible experience of the first blockage breaking. `You can open a door with a key or beat it down`is what my guru told me. I was doing all the right exercises so the key was there in that form so I expereinced nothing strange when the Granthi was pierced. My spiritual brother on the other hand didnt have these tools at the time and so the Kundalini just beat down the Granthi.

There are numerous signs to tell if your Kundalini is awakened so I will just tel you what I am experiencing. I am filled with a slight peace throughout the day now, I am almost always at ease. I am also filled constantly with energy, I can feel it at times weak and at other times strong, but it is always there now. There are times I emotionally feel I can do things a normal person could not do, I did not have this before. For example, I was angry the other day at a person and my energy was pooling in my fists. I knew that I could destroy that person completely at that moment but did not.

The Kundalini only awakens once but continues to rise until it reaches the top of your head, then it goes back to the base of your spine.

3. They say spiritual life truly starts with Samadhi. Samadhi is the Sanskrit term for enlightenment. Once you have achieved Samadhi you are enlightened. There are no if's and's or but's you are enlightened. Samadhi occurs when the Kundalini moves to the top of the head.

Once in Samadhi the first time it is unstable and you soon fall out of it, you then master going in and out of it after which you can use the state to attain knowledge and powers if you wish.

Beyond Samadhi is eternal life, immortality and unmeassurable bliss. You right now control your body, well imagine your body being the entire universe and you experiencing absolutely everything going on. But in doing so you are completely emotionally unattached. In this state you only feel the absolute bliss of pure consciousness. You are your loved ones, alive and dead, you are your girlfriend, your husband, your wife! There is no need to fear leaving them behind as you become them as they become you.

There is never an end to the infinite so how can there be an end to enlightenment? There is truly no limit on anything, you constantly get more and more bliss, beyond what your physical body and mind can even comprehend.

Samadhi is an event worth more then the world to strive for but after that event you have no limit on how far you can go. As I said, it is the infinite you are dealing with and as such you can choose to go as far into Absolute bliss as you choose.

4. Kundalini is absolutely needed for Enlightenment to occur. Unless the Kundalini moves up the spine you will never become enlightened. It is like 2+1=3, it is just how things are.

5. That is true, for example in my immediate past life I was striving for it and never attained it. Though nothing gained is ever lost and in this life I got a very early start at this whole thing. I am now 20 years old with the Kundalini in my first chakra manifesting the assosciated Siddhis. In my past life I died of old age on this path now at 20 I have surpassed where I was already. Do not thnk it is unattainable though, it very much is so and can easily be done. Take on that mind set and you will achieve it in no time.

6. That is a more subtle topic you are getting into there which I do not want to get into right now. For now just view person A as being enlightened and person B as being enlightened. Just because one is does not mean you will be, everyone must apply the effort themselves.
