What makes you think you need a mentor? Why put others on a pedestal, for something which only requires you to apply yourself?
Psychokinesis, is very simple; you only need discipline & self awareness. Sit there & gaze at an object, & gently bring your mind back again when it wanders.
Lucid dreaming is also very simple; keep a detailed, daily, dream journal. The easiest technique for most beginners seems to be the wake back to bed method. Go to sleep for about 4 1/2 hours. When you wake up; don't move your body. Think about the dream you were just having, because as long as you haven't moved your body much, a part of you is still in the dream world & you can return to it consciously.
If you want to master wake induced lucid dreams; PK, telepathy, or any other mind powers though; develop strong skill with concentration. In other words; sit there & gaze at an object, & gently bring your mind back again when it wanders.

You don't have to look outside yourself for anything. Not for strength, or knowledge or energy, or anything. In-fact, you never have to begin with, you just haven't realized that it was ALL YOU to begin with. Only difference now is you can practice control. :)

I TOO WANTED A MENTOR AT ONE TIME!!!!!!
I was 17 trying to make sense of it all and trying to figure out how I could better myself and my abilities and what else if anything else , that I could do that was along the same lines of TK..... like telepathy maybe... or pushing. Or who knows what else.... I sought a mentor.
I found an older virgo goat like myself. He was well vrsed in metaphysical thought but flawed. We are all imperfectly perfect I suppose. I learned some wisdom from him but saddly, he went over the edge.... Ten years latter, 3 years after a major event he blamed himself and believed that he directly sent out a universal curse and cry for 9/11 to be committed. If spirituality and truth seeking is my one side the politics and political truth is my other side. Truth is my sword and shield either way. So, knowing what limited truth their is to know regard the truth and lies of 911 I tried to explain things too him but he would hear none of it. I moved away from that I tried to explain the tyranny in the US and how the system works here.... because knowing where you are at helps you to know how to get to where you want to go... right? NOPE, he went outside for a moment I had thought to cool down. I gave him a moment of space.... after a few moments I went outside to find a sigil made in gun powder.
Before his colorful false confession regarding his will and 911 we had been talking about directly applying will to reality. Like with my TK. BUt My application of will to reality is not always limited to TK play... I am certain you all have had your moments where you needed the universe to be this way NOW, it was. And we had been talking about that kind of thing when the conversation went south.
One of the problems leading the failing conversation was also about ritualistic approaches to magic or direct will to reality applications.....
and here I go outside to find a sigil formed....in gun powder. burning.
into my dirt driveway of my home at the time... a rented trailer (still that was home at the time)
I felt so many things when I saw it. Saddness, minor betrayal, like that of a toddler sibling wronging you not knowing how he hurts himself in doing so..., amusement that he thought this needed to be done or that I would allow it, curiosity if I was capable of dousing it considering we had enjoyed some of his home made fermented grape juice, nessesaity as I kinda knew if it complited so would his pyschee and rest of the energy that he was putting into it.... and that he kinda needed the ego deflation.....
I felt all that in more in a matter of moments... extended my bare foot out... focused the energy out through the big toe and toes....dissipated the gun powder flame.... (Impressive for/to me)
HE went inside in a tizzy. swears I stepped on it...
It was heart breaking and moving... student surpassed teacher... he did not take it well at all... it was a big falling out.
Point being mentors are over rated... owners of lonely hearts are better than owners of broken hearts.
And their are so many here that are so willing to be highly helpfull....

the people that you call 'mentors' do not waste their time with noobs like us on the internet. what you see on the internet is nothing compared to what the real pros can do. so don't bother. and you don't need a mentor owltwelve is right
