Meet ups in Person?

I know that people on this forum live all over the world, but maybe we could try to do some regional meet ups? Have there been in-person meet ups before with this forum? I believe I read that people worked together to help dissipate some hurricanes - but I don't think that was in person. Besides regional meet ups, we could also have fairly regular (semi annual?) ones over the internet via Skype, instant message, etc. [at varying times to accommodate different time zones]. I know that some on this forum have participated in those before. I live on the east coast of the U.S., but will be traveling cross country soon. If anyone wants to meet - let me know! (via pm or otherwise)

I know that privacy can be a concern for some, but personally - I'd be all for meeting forum members in person - provided we communicated first over private message, and then possibly over the phone - getting to know each other a bit first before meeting.

This has been brought up before, but no one's organized anything lately as far as I can see. What is everyone's opinion on these ideas? If feedback is good - we could open a dialogue and start fleshing things out to get something going.

 

*Could it be that these things haven't been able to be organized due to lack of members? After all, this is a very small community, and it seems like only a handful of people post on the forums. If this is the main issue, than is anyone in favor of working to increase the member base, or the participation levels of members? If so, then let's start to talk about how we can do that.

It might be a small place here but I like it. It is cozy you might say. Not that I would try to stop more people as it is an open site to join but keep in mind the more people you get the harder it is to get to know anyone and the more strange people you get. Just take a look at YouTube for example. All of the trolling going on is one of the reasons most people who do things of this nature stopped making videos.

There's actually a lot of people here .. not many of them post very often, though.

I guess I might have met some of the people here while meditating, dreaming or out of body. Can't remember a thing, though.

Would be nice if one day we would meet up via flight and teleportation. Though, skype and instant messaging would be great, too.

 

@Goulap: Your goat avatar reminds me of a specific event (a wave of happy goat photos flooded the forum :), while the background looks reminiscent of a place near the summerhouse, where I like to meditate.

It would be fun to meet, but I prefer to develop a genuine friendship before something like that.

If I know what a person looks like; it's pretty easy to meet them out of body. Though, I do feel it is healthier for a person to awaken out of body on their own. I sometimes see people I know or acquaintances while they are dreaming, occasionally they are awake enough to remember & tell me about it:)

Owl... I remember meeting you when you had that cough and upper lung problem... But maybe it wasn't you but I could of sworn it was. And sussch I think I have as well met you but this is just speculation and being a skeptical at heart I need more verfication on my part. However I am convinced on astral projection :) and psi :). Look at that skeptic turned believer ;3

On the idea of meeting up. I am a very laid back person but I have many social problems that would have to be addressed. And I am a paraniod person with new people... So win my trust... I tend to get vibes from people usually if they re immature or not. This is usually why I make an assinine joke or two till the person proves them selves to me.

With that being said. I'm in massachusetts. I have no fear of meeting up with people but be warned I don't take **** from any one and I honestly do not have a problem removing you from my life ( deleting you from phone and ignoren you etc)

I also do not want my ideneity posted on here and I will not add any one on here to my public fb. Due to pictures and life information. I give a lot of information of my self here that I do not want future work places etc knowing about. Not that I'm ashamed but merely due to the fact I don't want them nowing what I have experimented on.

If I ever met anyone while I was OOB I don't remember because I have not had a conscious OBE yet, and while it may be healthier to accomplish on your own, if anyone should happen upon me sleeping feel free to pull me the hell out XD.

I disclosed the info about a week ago. Started posting weird stuff on facebook, too. A lot of friends must be puzzled by now..

I don't want to live the life of a double or triple agent only to realize that the society has already outgrown the need for hiding anything. It seems like a good time for disclosures, because of all the confusion and changes everywhere around the world.

There have been several friends, who have become aggressive once I've mentioned a thing or two about meditation and pk. Hopefully there won't be too many people queued up behind the door with forks and torches.. aww

I have never had someone become really aggressive but I did lose a friend I grew up with when he found some of the books that I own. It wasn't a big scene but we kinda drifted apart after that. Maybe people are opening up more than they used to but I think it will still be a while.

I don't live a double life sussch. I express my meditation and my belifes. However talking about psychokensis is a delicate thing indeed which I keep to my self unless someone is open to the idea. I have taught friends some things about psi balls etc.

There are people in rl who know about my abilities that I keep secret on here. I don't live a double life I just like to keep some information to my self. Its not due to being vulnirable but simply I don't disclose every thing that I am and can do. I've always been a man of evidence and the stuff on here I have put my self as evidence but I won't just tell you about my abilities I never really worked on.... Bc that's not who I am on here.... Its hard to explain... I've tried to make friends on here. Tried to open communication but I'm not the easier person to do that with so I keep a good portion to my self.

If you become powerful enough, be careful about letting others know what you can do. Though, at that point it is difficult to hide anyway:)

I had the opportunity to meet Macbethlondon when he visited Australia. We had shared techniques for sometime before then. He taught me his Ice technique. I see this forum as our virtual meeting place.

Here goes:

.. a dream that I had a while ago - can't even remember the year. I was tired and fell asleep on the old couch that was in the living room back then. There was barely enough space to fit myself between the arm supports (or whatever they're called) somehow. I saw a dream that I was walking back towards the couch and expected to see myself on it. Well, actually there was a goat wrapped in a black leather jacket. When I came closer, it opened its eyes and I felt dark and gloomy energy violently shooting out of its eyes and right through me. I couldn't resist such a powerful stream of energy and woke up covered in cold sweat. I guess it was a satan goat. Can't remember what happened after that. There was a period in my childhood where I couldn't control myself at all and I totally hated myself because of that - could it have been connected somehow? Dunno.

Cleaned myself of blockages and old black shields (don't know why, but these shields looked like the armor of Darth Vader while meditating). There were quite a lot of blockages and unnecessary shields around the head and although I hadn't noticed it, my head actually hurt because of the blockages in several places.

Edit: I also visualized hugging the satan goat and cleaning it of dark energy. It seems that short after that, FridgeNatious changed his avatar to a smiling goat on the forums. He changed his youtube avatar to a goat as well. There was a happy-looking goat in Treasure Hunter's video that I still hadn't watched as well. Thanks a lot for the idea, Draspy!

After writing the latter blog post, photos and avatars of happy goats kept popping up on me everywhere (not only on this forum). FridgeNatious, Draspy, Treasure Hunter are from this forum. It seems that I had left it out back then, but after this energy clean-up, the cleaned-up happy goat entity lived in my room for a couple of days and then it left.

Sussch I had dreams of a white wolf and it told me it was my spirit animal... Goats have been fortold to be powerful spritaul animals... Manly for sacrafice. Do you think maybe it was your negative energy is was asorbing?

I think it might've been also related to burying a dead goat at the grandparents' summerhouse years ago. Perhaps this left a vulnerability or something.. something sad and dark that resonated.

On another note .. really love goats, especially them happy ones. =D

What an interesting dream. I don't recall many dreams with animals in them and few are really that odd. I had a water buffalo in a red cape once tell me "You are all that you can be if you are all that you wish to be." But I don't think I have ever dreamed about a goat.
