Peter and I are going to see Amma one of the 4 Sat Guru's this Wednesday in Chicago. Our guru Michael, the tenth Avatar of Vishnu Kalki otherwise known as the Messiah in Revelation has told us we are going to be in the super conscious state as Sat Gurus ourselves for the meeting.
Going through meditation and inquiry the past few days I have realized that life is a dream and "dreams" are just as real as waking reality. Why put any stock into this dream when you could be in a different life tomorrow?
But anyways going through this is not real and I am everything and not entering that state is beating me up. But why does it matter, who is it that is feeling beat up? If nothing is real than these feelings are false as well. There is only the Self which is Real, there is nothing but That.
Why do we experience this illusion when it is not real? God is one without a second and so none of this can ever exist. You can say it is the Cosmic dream of God but even that is false because God has no desire to sleep or create being non dual.
But what of water, is one droplet of the water different than the others? No, it is exactly the same. What of a block of stone, one man may see an elephant in that uncarved block but the elephant is not there. Therefore it is not real, for it has never been created.
This computer, these words being typed, you people reading this. Though it is "experienced" by the mind in truth it is illusion. The mind being the experiencer of all experiences was not ever created and so experiences are not there to be experienced. There is nothing but God and everything is One so why not rest in the Self at this moment?
My guru has told me to look at the mind and watch experiences come up then see where those came form and keep doing this until you are at nothing, the "Void". After resting in this for a while you go beyond the mind into Samadhi or Super consciousness.
But watching the thoughts arise, it is still an action of the mind. But then again after working towards the Void you are not using the mind anymore and so you are there. In this state the mind is renounced without conscious effort. You go beyond it as you always were.
