I've been practicing Macro TK and Ki/Chi/Prana for about five years now. When I try to move an object, my method is to try and become a part of it. I would visualize my energy weaving into the object's and then, from there, I would try to move it as if I was moving a finger(without thinking). I don't meditate often and I feel I am very close. After about 30 seconds, I would enter a trancelike state. In that state, I am not sleepy or tired, but focused and relaxed, I could see the object's aura clearly, and I see very small vibrations as if the object WANTS to move. What can I do to ascend to the next level? How will I get it to move such that you can't say, "Hmmm, It MIGHT'VE moved," but that you would say " Holy Hell, It just moved!"?
Often when one starts seeing the object's aura or the object wobbling about, it might startle them out of the state. Detachment from the results should help here.
Another problem might be so-called mind-blocks, which cause one to semi-subconsciously negate all abnormal effects. Improving self-confidence might help here, which takes practice and/or perhaps some autosuggestion.
Or it might be that the feeling which describes the movement of the object is not vivid enough. You might want to observe an object move in similar manner, trying to feel what it's like to be the object and move in such a way.
It might also be that concentration needs sharpening. Focal meditation helps here.
The general solution to all of these would be more meditation and practice.

Anapanasati is focus of the breath. But it can be for the object as well. When you sit down in a PK sitaution. Already have your goals in mind. Intention of what you want to happen. You attention to what it is you at concentrating on and as sussch said ditachment from success of loss.
I have moved a psi wheel but I am not that good of a psion. I merely practice is small forms of spirtual cultivation. I have basic understanding of meditation practices but I can tell you meditation has changed my life greatly. Adding it into your routine won't hurt you it will benfit you. Enjoy
