Yep he spent his early life defrauding people as an illusionist and later as as "Expert" on the paranormal. His whole Money for ability competition is a scam. Anyone who reviews the case studies that were legitimate can see this.

In my opinion his whole reason for offering the money was to get his name into the history books and in the end it will show he was the biggest scammer of them all. His disciples are just riding his coat tails.
