Psychokinesis and lifestyle

Could you guys tell me what type of a lifestyle you all are living? and what kind of jobs you work at the moment? Because I wonder if there is a connection between your lifestyle and your mental health.

Right now I just finished college and am trying to get on my feet. But I feel this hustle bustle to get a settled placed is having an effect on my psyche.

This is a good and relatable post as I've noticed my status in society/life/external self has a strong correlation with my status internally. Which is only natural. We dedicate our focus and awareness to that which is most important to us, and that may not always be what we're dedicating our time to in the present moment.

I'm working full-time for an IT company and am in the process of transitioning to a new job after I get gov clearance, hopefully within the next few weeks. Our home is going for foreclosure due to long going history between my divorced parents and loans being taken out of the house. And I'm also a college studying for my bachelors in cyber security and networking at an online university and training for my various certs at a different online college. In between, trying to handle the more minor curveballs life throws my way and to continue growing and learning while maintaining a healthy happy lifestyle as much as possible. My field of work and study I spend a majority of my time sitting down in front of a computer. It takes a toll on my posture and physique and I haven't been working out much to accommodate for it due to a skin condition I have where my body breaks out in rashes and gets itchy and irritated if my body temperature increases too much or if I get angry/upset. My acupuncture doctor told me it's due to heat trapped in my heart that's caused this and other symptoms I have. So I'm working on getting that heat released/unblocked and also waiting for the weather to cool down a little more so I can comfortably work out indoor/outdoor and get back in shape. I'm hoping to kick things into gear early november when I imagine I'll begin working at the new job and weather will be great for me to begin a workout routine and I can also begin more active training in pk/all around improved lifestyle as my new job requires less work and provides a better peace of mind as far as job security and income.

They say balance your internal world and your external world will take care of itself. It's not easy to do so when your external world isn't balanced. So i'm juggling both worlds trying to find balance them both together.

Grats on finishing college! The motivation that comes from that I've found can be a good source of fuel to direct you in whichever way you want to propel yourself in life. Don't be stressed or worried about transition. Do the best you can with what life gives you. Enjoy the changes and trust that everything's going to take care of itself :)

We're not all in the same stage of life. I'm 43 already, but there will always be stressors in life for whichever stage or career you are in. I am a 3D modeler & art teacher, but I try to always integrate meditation & training into every area of my life, because they relax me & bring me joy.

It can also help to be honest with yourself about what most matters to you in life, so you don't waste time trying to please others. If you have a clear picture of what you require to be happy at the basic level; it doesn't matter what your job is. Sometimes trauma, like the death of a loved one, or an intense happy event like the birth of a child can help put things into perspective.

When I was younger, I got stressed out too; even to the point of panic attacks. I felt paralyzed by anxiety that I wouldn't live up to my potential as an artist. An older important person in my life, helped remind me though, that as a child, I was content to just be; express my desires honestly, & have fun. Children express a divine wisdom which we are unfortunately conditioned to forget. Do what you really want to do, for it's own sake, & don't worry about living up to anything or anyone else:)

Sorry for the late reply!

Tranceeffect: Thank you for your sharing your words! and congrats on your new job! It's true that how you ground yourself in this physical reality can be important to have a balanced life. Working out is also such a great way to free up your body, sometimes I notice my psiwheel spinning every time I lift my dumbell :) Bro you should try using your energy to create healing cycles in your body so that the body can slowly subconsciously heal itself while your are going about your day! It feels great after the cycles have taken hold an established themselves :)

When you said you were into cyber security, I was imagining you being a psychic Mr. Robot using his mind to hack into mainframes biggrin

Owltwelve: Thank you for your words of wisdom, I found them very applicable for my current situation. I find that the best thing about psychokinesis is that it kind of has your back. I find that no matter how stressed out I might get, the psychic aura will always be around to comfort me and bring me peace. Even If I find myself exhausted, a good calming thought simply brings in a big gust of wind which washes me over with energy aww

But what I meant was that I do not work to impress anybody. But I find that I'm mainly working simply to feed myself and have a normal life. I always think about how easy it is to just pick fruits from a tree compared to what we are supposed to do now to feed ourselves. But I guess that is just the reality that we live in

Managing survival has definitely been overwhelming for me from time to time over the years, but the same principles apply. It really has helped me to focus attention on the moment I happen to be in. What has helped me to do this, is calm abiding meditation. So, I give the mind a concentration task, & when worries, or other thoughts come up; I let them go by like clouds. After awhile, even when I'm no longer sitting to meditate; I notice some differences. The thinking mind thinks it's immersed & navigating rough water. The calm mind feels like it's admiring the water's beauty from the shore.

I still work to eat, but from the shore; I enjoy the beauty of working to eat & I don't feel overwhelmed. Time seems to move much more slowly, because any moment, activity, or object can be something to rest my attention on, as the clouds & rough waters flow by:)

Thanks for the words, I still haven't begun working so I guess I really shouldn't be thinking so much about it :)
