i would consider someone psychic with one successful experience intentional or spontaneous, should be able to repeat success if keep pursuing with practice. Belief and doubt can affect someone as can affect in a math test, if keep thinking "i can't do it, i will never understand math is so hard" probably don't even try (self-fulfilling prophecy) doesn't mean someone is unable to pass the test or have psychic experiences but can reduce chances, same with rituals and astral entities if is helpful is good then, i would still consider them psionic if need them always in order to achieve psychic activity. About the last 3 if someone is capable one kind of phychic phenomena (lets say receive telepathic signals from other people but without the knowledge about how send back a message) the same way an athlete is an athlete if is a specialist of 100-meters dash. unless you're talking about a soviet/CIA type recipient (someone who receives messages only when is the target of a remote visor not for themselves).
