It could be using the rain as a conductor to facilitate the discharge into space or the atmosphere. We do know that clouds get their electrons from passing over terra firma.

Father proposed to snap photos in IR light. Camera flash probably emits a lot of infra-red, which could cause otherwise invisible orbs to become visible.

It should also be possible to build an array of powerful IR LEDs that are used instead of regular flash.

That's a good idea Sussch. There are IR light sources commercially available already for use with night vision scopes, at least here in the U.S.

Funny you should mention infrared, i just bought a infrared camera earlier, its a nature watcher lol, i wonder if it will show anything up.

SeriousKnot, I am wondering about what you said that maybe orbs are actually are projection or expectation, took these three pictures last night one after the other, the first is empty , than i really focussed on seeing loads of orbs and projected excitement and expectation, alot of orbs showed, then the 3rd taken straight after was nothing again.

I think its something to consider Sk, that we can draw orbs to us, they may be universal energy and spirit as i have seen many pictures where they are interacting with plants too, those goggles dont look too hard to make,

It seems to me that there might be several different varieties of Orbs. Some are big and have faces. Some are very bright and smaller. Others of every size in between. I have posted pics on FB and had friends say 'dust', I might strain some relationships over this. I think people are afraid to believe because it takes them out of their little comfort zone, so they want to talk you out of it as well.

see being a skeptic left brained male, i dont believe any thing unless i have had first hand experiences. and if i can attempt to do somthing and prove it for my self (pk in particlure) then i wont believe it. how ever growing up seeing phantoms mist running by wen you in a shower or seeing a ghost and finding out the night you saw it was when you sister was murdered kinda makes me open to the possiblity of there being ghost and orbs. the other day i saw a large pitch black orb with my minds eye. this could be my imagintation but who nows any more..... her name was cyndy and she was beaten to death. then there was that skull face mist that was eating my nightmares the other day. but who nows, you block out the things when you friends say ur just trying to get attention.....ps i new my freind stab some one and she never told me....i freaked her out hehe.....i should of told her that she has a ghost attached to her amongst other things.... but this is rattling blah blah blah. my point is dont let ppl frusterate you bro. if they choose not to believe and they still accept you then let it go. however if they are like my friends who gossip like little ho;s time for new friends

nope i lost it a few days. some of the post you see was from my fone. i just spent 50 bucks for a month of internet on a ****y broadband2go. i worked wit my dad 2 days for some cash... land scaping is alot of work. why where u hopeing for some quiet away from me, i hope what i posted didnt offend u i was trying to be helpful but i always skrew somthing up lol

i rly didnt care for her much, she abandond her children etc but i guess she came straight to me wen she passed...i got no idea why lol when my mom found out she was murder she gave a accurate discription of how she was murder bc my mom had a seiure like thing and got goose bumps all over her self. lol quite awkward. but thank you for your kind words.

ive seen my share of ghost, demons, orbs, w,e it is out there.

but dosnt rain go down so wouldnt the tail be up not down as if the orbs where going to the ground. the orbs look like there going up which defines gravity of water particles?
