Hey, new here. Found a video on youtube, sent a message and viola! Now I'm here.
I stopped practicing a while back mostly because I couldn't do anything else other than the psi wheel. I got stuck on it. If I set one up now I will still be able to do it and I have done it in front of people before. I did it in front of my mother (she crapped her pants, my x-gf, my new gf, and a group of about 6-7 family members. But anything other than a spinning motion and I'm stuck! Any pointers on how to get to the next step? I feel like I have a hard time focusing sometimes. Any tips will be appreciated.
I am not anything near the most experienced guy here, so I'll pass on the advice part :)
But I have some questions for you, 1) how fast can you get a response from the wheel? Is it immediate?
2) Do you do anything special before you start?
3) Can you rotate it both directions at will? Do errors occur while attempting to do so?
4) At what time of day do you best perform?
Hmm. Well, I can usually get a response after maybe like 5-10 minutes (was like an hour when I was first getting it, bleh).
I don't do any special before I start, I usually just try to relax. I want this to be as natural as possible so I try not to have to take a long time in order to be able to do it. I want to be able to do it at will.
I can rotate it in both directions, but counter-clockwise is definitely harder to do than clockwise and it can take me a couple of minutes of fighting with the thing in order to get it to go the other way.
Time of day that I BEST perform is probably at night. But again, as stated above, I don't like to limit my capabilites to certain circumstances so I try to do it random times in my day.
I think the reason why I do better at night is because (oddly enough) my mind is too tired! This way I have trouble focusing on anything else and I can only focus on one thing at a time. I wish there was something that could help me to train my focus other than meditating . I just don't seem to be very good at meditation and its because my brain is going a million miles a minute that I can't focus enough.

The next step is to start working on stasis fields and vertical spin. Now that you can do horizontal left right you ned to get the horizontal also there is push pull technique. I will try and post some vids of this this week. There should be a detailed description for stasis fields in the technique section and on the videos. Also vocal command construct activation is usefull for pk locking devices.

Well, looks like I suck all over again. I can't even get the psi wheel to move anymore. I'm not sure what the mental block is, but I wish I knew. I even tried meditating for like 20 minutes. I relaxed, cleared my mind as much as I could, went back and got 0 result. My abilities seem very weak and it doesn't seem like they are ever going to grow. Do you recommend me taking tai chi classes? I feel I need some guidance to get me on the right path :(
Taichi does help with energy directing however there some helpfull logic sequences on this site so have a skim through to see if any apply to your situation to help you past the mental blocks it sounds like you are either out of shape or distracting your full attention therefore short circuiting your ability. Some days your mind may be tired others distracted it seems first thing in the morning is the best time to practice with a clear head.

Hmm, I'm feeling my energy much more again now and have had a lot more luck. I'm only moving it a little but thats a lot better compared to the nothing I was getting before. I will eventually take tai chi in my lifetime, most likely when I'm out of college.
Looks like I ws just out of shape mostly. It was almost scary the way I couldn't feel the energy any more :( I'm glad it's back :D

I was getting good at psi wheel then I started training in the pool just floating not moving relaxed imagining I was the psi wheel and it actually started working!!!!! I moved in the directions I wanted to go.
Hey Nisha Lee, actually there is a device that some ancient cultures used and still exists today, even though it seems to be more rare to find in it's original form, that resembles a kind of a closet or a box with doors that has the bottom part in the floor and the upper part raised at about 25~30 degrees and it's full of water inside.
Then a persons steps inside, lays down and closes the door, meditating for a few hours partially submersed in water.
It can be used for other purposes too... but regarding meditation I find that it gives far better results than the usual sitting position where you're surrounded by air.
For what I know the more modern versions include comfy adjustable and water proof chairs inside water containers... but the principle behind that is the same.
