Hi. New to all this but a really basic question. How do i make the psi wheel? Can i use anything else to practice - something i dont have to make or is the psi wheel the best place to start. Also, what should be the first training step? Spinning in a certain direction or focusing on a particular colour?
You should actually make different kinds, small, big, paper, alu, with numbers/colours etc. You'll get to know that as you progress. Some of the popular "contraptions" are the needle+matchstick in the bottle, a straw on a table, a ping pong ball etc.
As for the starting method, I think it is best that you experiment for a while, try to get any response and try to observe the object when you are not interacting with it to see if it is under other environmental influences.
I found out that if you are working with a wheel on a table or other surface, you can actually cancel the air current effect if you elevate your wheel a bit. This is how I have it when I practice without the glass:
Like that it can stay still for ages. Hope this helped, good luck!
