This sounds very similar to fan work, I think If you have a natural affinity wth the air you could definatly be a good candidate for windmill and stasis field work!

I always felt that i had a specail connection to the wind. Now i am learning to control the flow of air and i can't believe how natural it is for me to do so. I am hoping we all can help each other becoming more masterful at our craft. ^-^

I've always thought i had a special connection with air too.

I love the wind so much. My favorite element by far. I also love oxygen too, so it's a 2-fer

But, the way Jonwolfen described that experience. It's almost like our consciousness or higherself really is apart of everything. He made it sound as if he wasn't moving anything external from himself at all. Just moving something else that is apart of him. Really sounded like Darryl Sloans theory on how we are all a single representations of the whole. Though that idea doesn't quite settle completely with me, (Doesn't quite sound 100% accurate), his experience seems to fit it almost to a T.

Any other thoughts?

P.S @Wyrm. Nice name btw, and i love your Picture. I love wolves. And cats... cept for the ones that can eat me.... ok, fine, you caught me... i love those ones too...

I have been researching various things for eight years prior, the thing that i find helps is try and imagine yourself as the wind. you find that you are more sensative to the shifts in the wind, be it in a room or anywhere. I close my eyes and just think that i am commanding the wind, i imagine that the wind is a light green color and i picture it blowing as hard and any direction i want. Key thing that i find, no matter what you do is you must believe in yourself. When ever i do that, i find it works. Always keep an open mind, enjoy what life has to offer, and be all that you can be. biggrin

Btw, i also love wolves, and the name just came to me. Call it what you will, but it just feels right for me.

I do that too. Well, sometimes, when i try to actually use the wind. I love the feel of wind when it blows. I picture myself evaporating into it, and becoming it.

Nice to have you on the forums, Wyrm! Might you be from a previous pk forum like A Little Weird?

I don't feel a special connection to wind, but there have been quite a few successful aerokinesis attempts.

So far I have attempted push / pull through direct pk on the object and I haven't had much of a success. Doing it through wind manipulation sounds like it might work better =P.

The Holographic model of the universe is much older than Darryl Sloan. You can go back to Scientists David Bohm & Karl Pribram. You can go even further back to the beginnings of Tantra, Yoga, Buddhism, Taoism, Hermetism, & Primordial Paganism for similar ideas. Even Jesus Christ, implies the fractal nature of reality when he teaches that the Kingdom of Heaven is within you.

There is an awesome book called the Holographic Universe - by Michael Talbot, which some of you might enjoy:)

The old texts on similar ideas are often a bit difficult to understand (it's as if they're compressed or something).

Wow, great information. So in essence, we are all just one part pf a bigger whole. Kinda like how an ecosystem works where multiple organisims function harmonious to create a balance in their enviroment. You can also reference us as all cells in just one big collective thought and organism. We are all one, i think i understand. That means when one wishes to manipulate and element such as air, you have to tell yourself that you are a part of a bigger whole, that you are a part of the wind. From there you can move it to wishes because you are the wind is you as the wind is you....that's what i got from it anyway, correct me if i am wrong. biggrin

Hey Wyrm, you're not wrong, but it's deeper than being a part. The holographic observation suggests that you are actually the wind raather than just a part. If you divide a hologram, both parts still contain 100% of the information. If the universe is truly holgraphic, all information about the planet Jupiter is contained within your finger nail. This means that not only is separation illusory, but that you are Mount Fuji, your coffee cup, the chair you sit on, the psi_wheel, ShirakOmegaX, the internet; all of these things are you.

Obviously you feel a sense of indvidual separation & autonomy. Though, perhaps this is an artifact of perspective & focus. As Shirak, illustrates in his book Way of the Psion; When you 1st put your sock on in the morning, you are aware of it's snugness & texture, but this acute awarness soon leaves your attention. I don't believe David Bohm went as far with this as me, but I think there is one consciousness dreaming. In your dreams all persons places & things seem separate, yet they are all instances of your consciousness. If the Universe is Holographic, or fractal in nature; it may not be an outrageous leap to think that dreams are a clue to the nature of reality:)

its basically wind energy... gathered into the form of a ball.. O.o maybe its just from an anime :D but its gonna happen irl if we want to.. not as powerful as the ninja naruto does it.. but its possible o.o thought this video might help to get some ideas about training it. o.O also im gonna check the moves in that anime if there is something i can practice on..

Wow, would this also have something to do with the Akashian Records (excuse my spelling)? We are all one, a part of each and unified we make a greater whole. I think i understand now.
