Psychokinesis

I myself have experienced this imagine if you will a bowl of water as you stir it it gains momentum then as you try to go the opposite way it continues for a while in the previous direction. Energy is the same as this and this is why You have resistance when you change direction. Also you may be trying ot push with yin energy which will actually cause pull and vice versa if you are trying to pull you may be using yang polarity which is actually push. This translates across to circular/spin constructs.

My suggestion is lean to tell the difference between yang/hot push energy and yin/cool yeilding/pull energy. This will help when you go to apply the energy within your spin construct.

Part of it is that you may be relying on your conscious mind this takes away control from the higher mind. This is OK. Learning about quantum particles helped my visualization for constructs a lot. Visually and with our sense of touch the glass looks solid and so we using our conscious beliefs (which can be re-educated) Disbelieve that energy can move through the glass.
This is incorrect there is so much space between the particles of the glass. Sure a macro mechanical mass solid like air or water has trouble moving through but not energy. There is a diagram somewhere that helps to understand how energy can move through a solid through the forth dimension I meditated on this for a time as at first it was hard for my mind to grasp, this helped as well. Remember there is also available kinetic energy in the glass which can be focused and directed using the conscious mind the energy need not originate from without the glass. All matter is in a constant state of movement and flux at a quantum level electrons/leptons and all the rest move in a constant state of random potential that can be focused into a direction by means of a conscious act.

So from what we understand of electrons being both here and other places and the same time in quantum physics until measurement forces them into a wave or a particle. We understand that any given mass has a large random potential that is available kinetic energy for PK.

This information allows the conscious mind the belief to allow the higher mind to do its thing because the conscious mind now can see the possibility through education and concrete data it loses its fear of failure and unknowing if this is really possible)
