Shirak mentions in one of his videos that the psiball may have had it's birth in the martial arts tradition of standing post. I agree with this and would like to add to it. Many people have trouble with visualizing/feeling a powerful psiball; some skip it altogether and go right for the psiwheel. I wanted to say that if you skip it, you could be missing an important part of development. If you have trouble visualizing; perhaps you can rely on biofeedback as martial artists have done for centuries. Along with standing post, many Taichi practitioners practice focusing there energies through an actual physical ball. After drilling for sometime, you can rely on the biofeedback memories or muscle memory of the practice and have a pretty powerfull psiball. Anyway, here are some illustrations of the practice:) Tai Chi Ball Exercises

No problem, sometimes I think basic info might not be decribed well enough for people without an energy work background. You are not the only one with the kinds of questions you have:)

Yeah, I think it's really cool, I just ordered the taichi ball vids in the second video. My martial arts backround is Goju Karate, Southern Praying mantis Kung Fu, and lots of Chi Gung. Though, after a few years I didn't rely on the breathing exercises as much as leading the energy with my mind. I started studying hypnosis when I was younger, which really helped me to progress in martial arts much faster.
Also Grengoshi, one of the reasons I posted these videos is because I think that it might be helpful to start with familiar things. It's easir to connect to muscle memories of a real ball than it is to imagine energies that you haven't yet entrained yourself to. The memory is very powerful! Anyway, the basics of a psiball in a nutshell, is to visualize a shape between your hands(you don't have to use hands, but it can be easier at 1st). Now when I say visualize, I mean to include any of your relevant 5 sences, plus emotion if you can muster it. Usually people start out picturing a ball of light; heat, magnetism, or static. Though, like I said this is often to big a leap for people. So, a simple one to start with might be to clasp your hands together firmly for a a minute or so; press hard, then release. Now, holding your hands slightly apart, try to hold the memory of the clasped hands in between. If done right, it should be like you have four hands. When mastered, this technique makes the phantom/psi hands seem real, while the physical hands become the phantom. When I started Chi Gung, I one day connected to the static feel on the surface of the T.V., after it was just turned off. I kept turning the T.V. on and off till the memory stuck, and then used the memory of this feeling so I could move it through my chakras. Later this practice helped me make some cool psiballs. You can practice with different shapes, and program the construct to do different things. Hope this is helpful:)
