As some of us, have martial arts, & yoga backgrounds; I thought would be good to share the energy cultivation & meditation techniques we've learned over the years. In reading the John Cheng book & watching the videos. I see that so many chace this man, in search of secrets; the knowledge is not hidden though. By comparing experiences, the pieces do fall into place. This man is describing a chi cunstruct, similar to one I use, & one described in the Magus of Java:)

Thank you, it finally explained the twitching I have sometimes felt during or after pk attempts. Having read psi-pog and some forums, I also thought this twitching was unhealthy and paused practicing until it disappeared.
When I get too much psi pressure in my body, I usually just make an "explosion" and blow it away in all directions. Gathering it together and then releasing it all at once in one direction could result in some cool pk effects. I like practicing things smooth though - I think it's safer.
I like his open-source policy and the way he describes things. You can easily feel what he means (how he feels when he's doing these things).

He is definately correct whith the water hose, channel width analogy. My body seems to be able to process higher volumes & frequencies of energy than it used to. Sometimes it is scary, even now. There in a Bindu point at the back of my crown which I can feel expanding. Mostly, it gives me ecstacy type feelings & stonger PK, but there is pressure also, and it feels like I might be prying my brain apart, lol. Last night when my girlfriends hand was above my head, it felt like she was touching my brain directly.

I suffered from a chi blockage at my throat for about 1 and a half years where my throught would swell it was hard to swallow talk. It was after my third eye activation I think that I had been sending a lot of chi through it for excercises. By studying acupressure I learned where the symptoms where comming from the point. I tested the point with my finger and found it to be sore and swollen. Over the course of the next few days Imassaged it and there symptoms I had been suffering from (this included operations multiple tests with no diagnosis) The symptoms I suffered from disapeared. It is through understanding the channels that chi travel we can learn to heal ourselves in regards to blockages in our system.

Yesterday evening I tried an exercise I used to do pretty often a couple of years ago and found that my body could take on pretty dense and fast moving psi compared to what it earlier could. The area in the chest around the heart chakra was still slightly tense, but it was not enough to make me feel bad.
Thanks for sharing Sussch, I actually check your blog pretty frequently these days. I'm about to watch "Shadowless Sword" in a couple minutes:) There was a clip from the trailor I saw, were the characters are doing that wuxia style light foot gliding. Anyway, my mind started building a construct for it right away!

Fixed a bug in the blog post. The film Hero was definitely better, but back when I watched it, I had not practiced pk much, so the experience was not that great.
Regarding swords and feeling them, I don't know if you've seen this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nj1Jytiw8e0 (I edited my post in the OBE/Pk topic some day and added it there).

A stable-minded person will neither hug nor hate the world, he will take things as they come.
I have been trying to do some chakra balancing meditation recently and somtimes I do get quite a feeling of nausea once I have worked my way up to about the throat or 3rd eye, to a point of where I have had to stop. Last night it was more a feeling of a large adrenalin rush that left me slightly dissorientated. Do you think I am doing to much here and like is discussed I am pushing too much energy through small undeveloped channels? I heard through a friend that someone I went to school with is now a Shiatsu medcine practitioner, maybe I need to track this guy down to help me with energy points.
I think that shiatsu sounds like a good idea. My older brother, also a martial artist, used to perform it on me. It is definitely worth it to practice some kind of energy work system as you progress further with PK. I have years of energy work under me & the increased chi, is still a challenge. I never had nausea symptoms, but each person is different. Some people get hot flashes; hypothermia feelings, crazy dreams, the feelings of ants crawling on the body, rashes, head pressure ect.
I think that it's helpful to take chakra progess slowly. I mean that you should stay with a chakra until you have some control over it, and it's powers. One of the things that is helping me right now is that I have enough control over the lower chakras, to contain most of the flow until my higher chakras can adjust. When I was younger, with all my superhero dreams, I kind of poo pooed the kundalini warnings, but I was definately wrong about that. With what we've all experienced so far as Psions, it's clear that the power potential is pretty awesome. Here is a very good example of a normal persons experience with the kundalini: 1 of 3
One of the best ways to know you are progressing at the right pace with a chakra, is when you experience bodilessness or an OBE, while you are meditating on the chakra. This is an OBE, where you don't go anywhere. The purpose is to meditate on the chakra to the point were your body awareness disappears, and you are only the chakra. As I recall, this is how John Chang trains his students as well. You can also experience this bodilessness, from the microcosmic orbit practice. I hope this is helpful Treasure Hunter.
Also, checkout the videos of the man above who is discussing kundalini syndrome: Head Pressure. He is a busy person, but extremely experienced with martial arts & kundalini. Though he seems to be way beyond caring about superpowers. Watch his videos from the beginning if you have the time. If you can't manage taking classes; you should definitely look into some chi gung books by, Mantak Chia & Yang, Jwing-Ming.

Thanks Owltwelve, I will check out these videos over the next couple of days. Work is slowing down now until about march so I am going to definitely look around for taking some classes in something over the winter months, I think it could be very beneficial. Its funny that all this has come from trying to turn a psi wheel.
I believe I am experiencing this right now. Some describe it as an opiate like secretion. Anyway, the experience has turned out to be much stronger than I thought it would:)
From Wiki: Bindu Visarga/Indu/Chandra
Bindu visarga, is located either at the top back of the head, where some Brahmins leave a tuft of hair growing, or in the middle forehead. It is symbolised by a crescent moon. This chakra secretes an ambrosial fluid, amrit, and is the seat of the white bindu (compare with the white bodhicitta drop in the crown chakra in the Vajrayana system).
Lalana/Talumula
A chakra known as Lalana is situated in one of two places, either in the roof of the mouth, between Visuddhi and Ajna, or on the forehead, above Ajna. The Lalana chakra on the roof of the mouth is related to Bindu and Vishuddhi. When the nectar amrit trickles down from Bindu, it is stored in lalana. This nectar can fall down to Manipura and be burned up, causing gradual degeneration, or through certain practices it can be passed to Visuddhi and purified, becoming a nectar of immortality.
These experiences/practices are common to Taoist & Tibetan energy work as well

Here is a link to a very informative yoga & energy work website you may find helpful. All of the information & techniques are listed in an ordered way:)
I wanted to show that ChosonNinja video to my sister and found that YouTube had terminated his account. I'm glad I had stolen the video and could still show it, but it's kind of sad, as he also had a lot of good martial arts moves there.

Multiple Copyright infringement, what the hell was he copying? I think in future I am going to have music playing on my HiFi as I did get a warning about the kular Shaker track on inverted psi wheel, but no warnings about the moby tracks. I do love having a music on my videos
That's really unfortunate; he was a wealth of martial arts & cultural knowledge on youtube. Also, his long distance shuriken throwing was awesome; he definately has some superhero skills!

I had stepped on the first one already, but I couldn't keep it regular though.
The third one looks interesting - it's similar to a pranayama exercise I have occasionally used from a Kundalini book. I guess that the book contained a simplified version of it. It did work wonders, but again .. I would have to keep doing it regularly.
