This movie was pretty corny & low budget, but I remember them describing PK pretty accurately. I get the feeling they may have had a real Psi consultant:)

Owl, I will definetly find this on netflix. I love corny and low budget! I call these Good Times versions...you know, the brand name of the knock off Disney movies they sell at the Dollar General.
One I watched recently (also on instant netflix) that has quite a bit of telekinesis in it:
The thing is, most people would watch this movie and see it as all about Witchcraft. I see it as a misguided psychokinetic being used and taken advantage of by this group of pagans. They have nothing happen until the new girl joins their group who seems to be born a geist. The rest of the group uses her energy and good nature to get what they want. I've been in similar situations before, can relate. That's why I only share our abilities with people I can trust completely.

"Little Princess" (1995) popped into mind a while ago. It doesn't feature much pk, except for a manifested feast table. Though, it demonstrated a good attitude towards it all.

I've only seen the original 70s version of "Carrie", I'm interested to see how this remake describes PK, especially since she does her research on the internet:)

Sadly I can relate to Carrie, Owl. She needed to learn to control her emotional flow. ;) Oh, I found Momentum on netflix, just have to get around to watching it. Shirak, haven't seen that yet, but I will check it out!
I know shy, me too, though my dad was no where near the Zealot Carries mother is. My mom helped me keep the psychic stuff from my dad, because he would have said it was of the devil. I get along with my dad now, but wouldn't think of sharing PK with him:)
I think Alphas, being a show rather than a movie has a lot of potential for development:)
Owl, I was always afraid it was demons playing tricks on me, and that's what my moms evangelist preacher told her. She wasn't as bad as Carries mom, but she is/was neurotic and my dad always held her back if she got too nutty. Thanks for the link!
I have the Fountain lined up to watch, Trance. I just hope I get the time. Sussch, the Craft did not end well at all, I have to agree. But do you see what I mean about how the group had no power until the telekinetic joined(they call her a "natural witch" in the movie, but same thing with a religious twist), then they just kind of took advantage of that power? There was quite a lot of symbolism in the movie too.
There is TV show X-Files (I bet everyone knows that xP). That is mostly made of paranormal stuff. Only thing is, that you have to search for those episodes. =/
