"Humanity? Just a bunch of idiots trying to do -what they think is- justice, "make this world a better place", ruining the planet, and basically just f*cking up everything they touch." -Fang
Well done humans, you actually made me go ahead and say that.
sidenote: Nope, not everyone is like that, but a vast majority is.
I think the idiocy you were referring to was a product of people feeling and acting as though they depend on things.
Like, the more things people feel as though they depend on the more vibes they'll put out (through actions and their own awareness of things) that won't correlate with those who don't feel as though they depend on them.
There's this show called rurouni kenshin where this guy's swordsmanship master has all the skills and strength percieved necessary and more to stop the killings of innocents going on around him, but instead he chooses to perfect his pupil's training to the end that he will also become an undefeatable/unstoppable swordsman.
But the pupil wanted desperately to go down and help the people being killed, by killing those who were killing those who seemed the most innocent. Stating that it was his duty and simply because he had to.
The master considered this foolish, while the pupil considered this to be the reason why one should even practice swordsmanship in the first place.
Would we rather live in a world where everyone was the master, or would we rather live in a world were everyone was the pupil?
Moreover, I typed that stuff there just then, but if I was one of those who seemed most innocent, would I rather live in a world where there were more of the masters or more of the pupils?
But in the first place, if I'm actually aware from a perspective where myself and everything about what I like is undying and invincible then would I more so correlate with the master or the student?
I think right here on this forum there've been perspectives that remind me more so of the master while there've been perspectives that remind me more so of the pupil. And what's interesting here's that seeming skill ranges and seeming abilities can seem to vary quite a bit even within those.
Shirak to me is like, the most interesting of all in this respect because he seems to at the very least typically display a stronger desire to help others than I'd percieved from most people, yet he's one of the most accomplished and sort of masterful individuals I know. Especially of course with PK, with which I'm sure he thinks he's barely scratching the surface, lol.
Hehe :P just a little quote from our awesome Eminem :P Dont ever forget this one :

Quote from an anime, Steins;Gate. Interesting, mind-boggling anime, and quite an interesting quote, too.

You simply empty your mind and clear your consciousness. Eliminate yourself of ego and self-absorption. When you are completely purged of awareness of the small self, of identifying with the personality, you are free to move with the natural rhythm of the universe. You are no longer weighted down with self-concern and limiting beliefs. You are then able to utilize the electro-magnetic wave energy that moves between the earth and the sun, moon, planets and all the heavenly bodies in the universe.
On a hot day, you can actually see the wave motion of this universal energy as it undulates the air over hot pavement. You can measure the powerful effect of this energy on the ocean: this invisible force causes the sea to rise and fall, creating the ocean tides. You can see this pattern of universal pulsation in the rolling of the ocean waves, the rhythm of rock strata in canyons and the formation of sand dunes in the desert. This universal, undulating motion creates all the spiral patterns you find in nature -- from whirls in sea shells, twirling plant growth, twisted tree trunks and swirling ocean currents to water funnels going down the drain. The natural flow of life is an energy wave motion, up and down, in and out. All the wavelike patterns and spiral formations you find in nature exist because natural elements are fluid and flexible enough to flow with the natural wave energy current of life. When you become light enough, clear enough of ego-concern, you can let this wave energy move you as well. That's all levitation is.
Observe children, dogs and wild animals tap into this universally available energy source. To them, it's natural. Haven't you seen children and dogs in a park or on a beach as they run and jump all day without getting tired? If a child or dog feels especially happy and carefree, you'll see them jumping two or three times higher than they normally can. We all know wild animals have extraordinary abilities to jump and leap, as well as run long distances very fast and long. Indigenous, tribal natives who retain their childlike innocence and openness in adulthood can run 100 miles in a single day without being tired. This is because they are light and empty enough to flow with universal energy. They allow the natural energy pulsation between the earth and other bodies to propel them. That is what the Star Wars screenwriter meant when he said, "May the Force be with you." His characters had learned how to surf the Force. When you become fluid and malleable, you also can ride this energy and float.

A stable-minded person will neither hug nor hate the world, he will take things as they come.
The movie was amazing, but the few quotes really don't do their job very well. The whole movie should be quoted. It's the same with good books. I'll still try to quote it, even though it loses its shine when put out of context.
An old Tibetan saying from "The Tibetan Yogas of Dream and Sleep":
"When in the body of a donkey, enjoy the taste of grass."
A couple of more quotes from the book:
"Hear, conclude, and experience."
"This is not bad. It is just what is."

I have found that with many new psi sensations the initial shock or excitement which comes during awareness of an experience, will often take me out of the experience. This has cause many broken OBEs, as well as PK stuttering. When you get to the point that the phenomena are almost routine & boring, you will have much better control & be able to do more things:) - Owltwelve
