That is very near an energy point perhaps that chakra is activating for you. I believe that area of the brain is also responsible for body temperature regulation or was that sight. Anyway meditate on the quality of the dizzyness how does it differ from say spinning around repetitively?

I have this same problem. Especially lately it has become very intense and it sometimes makes me feel almost like tossing my cookies.
Interestingly enough, i have had a headache all day. When i looked at those circles, its exactly where the headache is at. Though usually my dizziness comes from the pineal gland area; like a knot of nausea.
As to what Sussch asked, i have found focusing on lower chakras to help tremendously, but it doesn't fix the dizziness, just makes it subside for an hour or so.
I originally thought it was a medical thing, because i thought chakras opening would be a bit more pleasant, not painful and sickening at times. That and prior to the onset of dizziness, i had been focusing intensely on that chakra, so i thought i over did it with stress and maybe hurt myself :( Which i probably did.
Anyways,
Have fun!

It can definitely be painful if your nervous system hasn't had time to adjust. I think that this is one of the benefits of physical yoga & chi gung techniques. I think that the postures & breathing exercises help to prepare your body for managing increased energies. I've been doing martial arts for a long time, & it's still a challenge for me. I don't get dizzy, but I've had of issues.
I have found that meditation for it's own sake helps me. Also, redirecting the energy into the ground may help as well. The balance between pushing yourself beyond your limits, & knowing when to rest can be tricky:)

@Nox: Yup. Focusing on lower chakras may help to reduce the intensity, but it's only a workaround.
Have you tried visualizing the chakra / psi channels in that area growing wider? Maybe visualizing a door opening somewhere in the area could also help.
