A lot of these theories look more like an over-inflated panic to me. I really don't believe = don't want to believe that there are any serious disasters coming. Don't buy a crappy future like this .. let's manifest a better one . We could start it with a "Requirements Specification" by describing functional and non-functional features that shall be there. Some concept art and we should be off for a better future.
I really like this idea we should start a better future thread where we can post positive intentions for the world and organise a future construct to counteract the negativity being projected in the world. It only took a few people meditating in New york on peace to drop the murder rate. It was so successful the cheif of police asked them to do it more often. Ill try nad find the link to the story.

"This phenomenon of increased coherence and peace throughout society was first reported in research published in 1976, which found that when 1% of a community practiced the Transcendental Meditation program, the crime rate dropped by an average of 16%. This phenomenon was named the Maharishi Effect in honor of His Holiness Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, who first predicted it in 1960. This term now includes the influence generated by group practice of the advanced TM-Sidhi program, through which even the square root of 1% of a community is sufficient to create measurable changes in social trends." " A world where animals & children are treated with more respect & dignity" That's a future I could get on board with! Also a world where animals are considered teachers. This used to be the way for many cultures however industrialization made many forget what the earth and all its creatures had to teach. Lets rediscover it in this future which will come to pass.

I hope I am not being rude and posting here just thought id comment :/
A world where no one judges because your different. Where race, religion or wealth does not dictate where you will be placed. A place where having an odd idea or saying something smart to say doesnt get you kicked down. A place where Mother Nature isnt torn up just to make a profit, or animals beaten to death for fun. A place where children can grow up and not have to suffer every day because there social worker needs a pedicure instead of saving them from the foster home.
A place where a system respect the human body as well as the soul, not just the soul of the human but the soul of the earth. Where race or sexual orientation doesnt get you shot or beaten up. Where if you a woman you have the same rights as men. A equal world where you can be your full potential.
This is the world I wish existed.
I really wish star trek was our feature.(not saying what is written above is from star trek but just making the point of a good reference. lol)
