I know that some people have talked about creating a sigil. (I believe one of them was Draspy.)

Why haven't we made one? (if it has sorry, i couldn't find. biggrin)
If we would ever meet, we could recognize each other. Like a group symbol of something lol.

If we were to make one... how should it look like? smile

I have some sigils drawn on my wall. Like angel banishing sigil (just in case...) devil trap, and other various stuff lol.

Btw, If you haven't seen 'Supernatural'... You might wanna check that. That show is all about angels and demons. And the best part is... most information is true.

Group symbol would be a great idea.

Btw, are you sure the sigils on your wall don't attract "the dark and gloomy"?

@Sussch There is 1 sigil that I'm not sure... A pentagram in a circle surrounded by blood (i know... pentagram is used for demonic summonings and etc, but also can protect from them.) and some weird symbols. But seriously, i made that sigil up! That can't work.
Side note: My cat doesn't know how to play, so i end up having my hands bloody. xD ( i can heal my hands, don't worry aww)

What should it look like then? I want to hear yours first.(others too lol.) =P

@Sussch Strange...

Why won't other people say anything? =P

Ok lets see then... Something that would connect all of us... That would be PK. How would it look like? (no idea...)
Something with a Hepta or Pentagram? Maybe with meditation and all-seeing eye? Energies? Fire? ... I'm just throwing suggestions... xD

I actually have been practicing Chaos Magick for a long time, but not everyone who trains psionics, is comfortable with magick. This is mostly a PK & psi forum, so I respect that; I'm definitely into sigils though:)

In my belief magical symbols are often used to focus your awareness on a task. They are not necessary, but some people find them useful. It's the intent and energy of the person that makes them work, not the actualy sigil. Like we say in photography: it's not the box, it's the brain behind it that matters. smile

Owl I haven't studied chaos magick though I've heard you mention it at times on the forum. Personally I would actually find it's study and possibly practice as fascinating as I find PK. I can see why some might not like the topic. But I don't think there's anyone on the forum who would mind it being discussed and shared. I would like to give it a go, if you're willing to shine some light on the path for me.

As for sigils, I like the sugessions. But I don't like the flat old fashion pentegram type sigils. Though I do have some ideas to spice it up in that style using symbolism from each of our avatars, or a symbol of each person's pick if it's not in their avatar. Like a backwards ? for o12, an eye for shirak, a yin-yang sign for me, lol i'm thinking of a staff for sussch. We'll keep experimenting till we find something we all like, I don't we'll establish a permanent sigil especially since the forum is not only growing in number of members but also in our personal interest in certain fields and our depth of knowledge in them which can all have an effect on the sigil. Even so, we can find something we'll all like and we can edit it over time so that it will be even more meaningful to the members of the forum as it ages.

 

Here's something more universal I just designed. The greek Psi symbol in an inner green (color of life) outer electric indigo (color of psi) glowing orb with the escalating colors of the rainbow representing the lower chakra's to the expansiveness of completion.

Yeah, pentagram is getting old =). Hmm, combining is interesting. I would be fire or lighting. My favorite elements =P.

The symbol you designed is pretty good.. but it's like it misses something...
