Wierd sounds around the world

Some days ago I just discovered this phenomena that seems to be happening around the world >>
I honestly have no Idea, of ANYTHING. It seems unlikely that all those videos are faked, some of them must be real I think. I´m studying the causes, magnetic field shift, earth plates moving, aliens, paranormal, etc. etc. etc. What do you think about it?? If this is real its probably something BIG!

Already seen it. Tried to make a map where it came from... middle of the ocean... -.-
I also saw a dream about it... the cause was something to do with the mass of the earth (no idea at all). It would be fun and scary to hear it by yourself :D

I read there was a scientific study on this and the think it is coming from the upper atmosphere.

I'm only a few minutes into that compilation video, and dang is it spooky. It kind of reminds me of the beginning of a monster movie. I feel like I'm about to see a cloverfield monster come from around the building or something. One explanation i heard and thought was interesting, was that some claim it is the horns or trumpets of angels sounding the beginning of the rapture. I have to admit, some do sound like horns.

Whatever it is, it's definitely is a bit unnerving. Assuming it's real, and not a hoax, i doubt these sounds are a good sign.

I wonder what it is... and most importantly, what it means.

I logged a few of these weird sound events in my journal. I fully investigated it seems to be some sort of harmonic state resonance very unsettling as I cannot determine its source to a mundane source.

Reminds me of ambient from survival horror games.

Also reminds me of drilling holes into hard soil. Big holes.

Remembered that Dad once found a theory of the Greens building a shield to protect the Earth when its magnetic field is weakening. The theory was based on the translation of cropcircles. Well, such a shield would be big.

Edit: There's a more scientific theory that sounds plausible for me:

"What happens to a machine/engine that doesn't have enough oil/lubricant? It squeaks. Maybe magma movement just isn't enough for the plates to slide easily anymore. This would account for the increase in average frequency and magnitude of quakes too. North American Crator (dormant.... or so they say) runs straight up through Colorado and western Canada. Don't worry, we have Morgan Freeman at LHC, at least, a researcher that looked like him on a picture. Just a few pearls from the same page =D.

Edit: Edit: Edit: Fracking also sounds as a somewhat plausible cause (an article). See Wiki. A map of shale gas areas vs a map of these sounds.

Most, yet not all, of the videos on Youtube about this have the same sound clip embedded into it (a sound mixed with sound from the movie "War of the worlds" with Tom Cruise.

Most of this phenomenon on the internet is largely a hoax

I'm sure there are real sounds people are hearing, but I really dislike it when people exaggerate things just to spread fear, or insanity around.

I agree with Petomai. It did have similar sound with the movie, yet some videos don't even match up with it.

Remembered that we also heard these sounds, though they were quite faint, compared to what's on the videos.

Dad said they were probably tuning the shield in different parts of the world so that it would match Earth's magnetic field. There had been spirals, sounds and some other weird effects symbolized on one of the cropcircles. He also said that seismological measurements didn't show that the vibrations would originate from below the ground. Thus, it's unlikely to have been caused by fracking.
