I've bent a spoon for my brother and friend. I also moved a marker with psychokinesis for my mom. For anyone else who has shown their ability to other people what do you find is their general reaction? For me the person usually acts astonished and says something like "Woah!" But never ask any follow up questions which is weird. I guess we have a more curious mind than others.
I think there was a story I read of an observer who saw Michio Kushi levitate. Everyone was like woah later when he started talking to the others about it it was as though they had amnesia. IT seems that there is an amnesia experienced for anything that does not fit most peoples reality model. It makes living more comfortable when they experience something that challenges it. The same happens with trauma victims.
I have shown people and later they make nervous jokes about me doing Telekinesis. My fiance just goes mad at me when something geists. I am always delighted and meet her outrage with a cheeky smile and a sparkle in my eye and just say its been a stressful day.

Yeah thats why I find this forum a great outlet to meet and learn from like minded researchers ie people interested in this stuff. Without something like this I would feel more isolated in my research this for me is a community or college which I come to learn from and share at daily.

Perfectly said Shirak. I suppose I've always had an openess to paranormal phenomena. It almost seems genetic. In elementary school I use to take 600 page books out on various unexplained phenomena. I also had an active imagination back then and told my friends that I was actually from a different planet and chose to incarnate here as a human haha. Then when I was around 12 my brother and I had a u.f.o. encounter. After the incident I immediately became infatuated with egypt which was strange in itself because I never cared about the subject prior to that. At age 14 had my first OBE. All of these things I think helped to build a solidifying belief in the paranormal. I'm now almost 25, and have only accumulated more experiences since than.
I wonder if after Chronicle, people would still have an amnesia to pk events. Perhaps more people might now notice the weird, since their imagination has been stretched a little.

I showed my two closest cousins me spinning a psi wheel (one a while ago, and the other just last week). I've got both of them spinning psi wheels now. XD One of them is actually supposed to join the forum.
I also showed my girlfriend, at first I was afraid that she wasn't going to support me doing this stuff and basically think I was nuts, but she was very supportive. She said she wishes she could explain it, but she thinks it's very interesting.
