In a way, this relates to SeriousKnot's dreams and some of mine, too. Nobody would want their slaves to be too intelligent, or even worse, develop superpowers.
Also, this fine powder of gold that the extraterrestrials were claimed to have sprayed into their atmosphere .. it might be related to ORMUS and stuff.
Edit: And it might just shed light on why US might have invaded Iraq (to destroy the inheritance from sumerians).
