Hey everyone my name's Dave and I'm pretty new to all this. Growing up I've had a lot of experiences with lucid dreaming and the astral plane, some of which included me moving things like doors with my mind but I've never actively tried to practice it. When I was really young I would play games like trying to control wind gusts or if it was raining a little, trying to see how long I could keep raindrop from touching me. I'm also really interested in physics. I love figuring out how everything works around me so this seems like a cool forum to bounce some ideas around and get some good feed back.
Right now I'm on the second day of attempting hydrokinesis and haven't gotten anything to happen yet, but I'm not discouraged lol. Any good tips or links on getting started would be much appreciated!
hey boss! nice to meet you and welcome to the forum! as for hydrokinesis try to make it vibrate(move) at first, the water, you can take a bottle of water and shake it a little, then when the water is moving to make NOT let it stop moving, keep it dancing :D. you should be able to see clear diferences when trying and when not if you can do it. after a while you may find out you cant stop it from movin if you look at it, if this happens try to avoid being ner water when other people are around
also, hydrokinesis is all about becoming ONE with the water. you will see this all over the internet, you have to it is another limb of yours. anyways try to this, then if you can make vibrate when looking at it, try to lift, or something like that.
don't confuse changing the temparature of the water if manipulating it. making it move(manipulation) is hydro. making it freeze is a bit of cryo, and when heating i believe its both pyro and hydro.
anyways if you cant really do much with the other elements like fire(pyro-kinesis) i dont think you should try this, because it will take long. anyways dont discourage yourself, patience and lots of staring at it when doing is required, also use your hand not your mind. try to listen to music, i think two steps from hell is a very helpfull band to listen to :) good luck
