The essential goal of most psi researchers I personally have met involves creating a scientific paper in peer reviewed journals that involve producing robust statistical analysis of experimental data in accordance with standard scientific protocols. While the computational analysis of the data may be more than credible, the scientific community as a whole dismisses and scorns such undertakings as worthless pseudoscience.
I complain not so much for the "heat in the kitchen" (criticism from others) but rather the blocks and difficulties thrown in front of any experimenter who wants to investigate edge science in a amateur or professional way. My own response to this scientific prejudice has been to switch focus from publishing scientific papers to producing disruptive technological spin offs to produce both practical and commercial products and techniques that make it impossible to ignore PSI and other paranormal phenomenon.
With that background, I was delighted to find a forum of DIY experimenters and practitioners to share ideas, insights, and experiences with.
My own professional background has been in combining geophysics with chronobiology (often called space science) at the University of Minnesota starting back in 2000.You would be amazed at how much data is freely available that shows evidence of interactions with solar activity and biological effects.These range from effects as influencing your blood pressure in geomagnetic storms to neurological effects that range from migraine headaches to your reaction time dramatically increasing, making you a much more terrible driver than usual.Ha!
My current research work both amplifies PSI abilities and makes use of real world interfaces, such as turning on or off lights and other appliances simply by thought (no wires attached).This same approach to PSI applications also has amazing potential to change our lifestyles in the near future (imagine for example a completely mentally controlled TV remote or computer mouse).I'm also totally jazzed up about group consciousness experiments with focused PSI and applications of such.
Anyway, I look forward to interacting in the forum and meeting some of you virtually in our mutual desire to demonstrate the reality and practicality of PSI abilities.
Hey, welcome to the forum Geomagman! I am not surprised at all about the connection between geomagnetic instability & psi phenomenon. I regularly experience changes in body pressure & heat, just prior to & during geomagnetic instability, as well as increased OBEs, telepathy, & psychokinesis.
