was searching for concentration videos and found this one www.youtube.com/watch . its amazing what the woman did, all by controlling her mind and body, which is what concentration is. definetly worth watching

No, concentration happens right away. You just place your attention on something, & bring your attention back to it when your mind wanders. Meditation & jhana/samadhi are really the things that just sort of happen, following concentration effort:)

I just realised has anyone suggested the concentration exercises in the book ''Initiation into Hermetic''? yes they are popular, but I personaly haven't found any better ones until now. They begin in step1 of mental practice.

Im pretty sure i have the concentration part down, but is there an energy component to it? Cause I feel like Im trying to drive a car with no gas in it lol
When you say that you have the concentration part down; what do you mean by that? People understand concentration from wide ranging levels of experience. Without explaining your personal experience & understanding of concentration; your assertion is without context.
Concentration is energy...
A layman's example of the above statement might be, obsessively complaining about someone who may have wronged you. After awhile, your friends may ask you to stop giving the offending person energy. You are giving them energy by concentrating your attention upon them.
Everything is energy; there is no lack of energy, energy is inescapable, energy is everywhere & in everything. Energy is always moving in congruence with your attention. Concentration coalesces the energy which is always present, in the direction of your attention.
