I've been watching the series, 'Hunter x Hunter.' The discipline for controlling and applying one's aura, nen, seems pretty on-point and realistically applicable. In fact, it has helped me to more easily perceive calling my aura back to me. I was wondering if these methods sound accurate to anyone else here. I will post the description from the show's wiki page.
Hmmmm... I don't see any reason why not. One's aura is merely a form of energy, if i'm recalling correctly, and you can also picture energy as any symbol you want, like electricity. So i dont see any reason it wouldnt work. This is a forum looking at forms of parapsychology, which is pretty much the "paranormal" with the mind. We're all still discovering what we can do. Try it and see. Tell us if your discovery after. I think i might try it too.
So in other words, since everything is made up of energy, I can perceive any form of energy as my aura. That makes sense.
I find it easy to perceive my energy returning to me just by feeling it through my body. But it's still hard to focus on one area of my body, like my hand or my legs, in which to focus and store energy.
That, I think is just practice. There was a warm up i saw when starting to learn to work with energy.
First, pull in energy from somewhere, or just from your body and locate it and feel it at your feet. Then you sort of feel it move slowly up your legs, up the rest of your body: from your legs to your abdomen up your chest, and down your arms, back up your arms and up your neck into your head, at the crown chakra or whatever. Try to concentrate focusing the energy to sort of ball up in certain places so you could get a feel for storing it in one place like your hand and whatnot.
Also try making psiballs. That would help with trying to focus on and store energy i think. Except this time it would be outside of the body.
Well, it's sort of just to get the feeling of concentrating on keeping energy in one spot of your body. If you want, you could modify to your liking i guess...
Yeah, but you were trying to figure out how to concentrate keeping energy in one part your body though, right? For just working with energy, that would work, but to acknowledge certain points on your body, you have practice moving them in those certain spots.
Tried making psi balls this time. I can definitely feel a subtle "filling out" of the space between by hands. Attempting to charge it, I focus on pushing more energy into it for about 20 minutes. Now my hands feel a little burnt and prickly, like sticking them in water that's almost too hot. I tried going to sleep, but I kept noticing a little "pocket" of something in my right hand resting on my chest.
I wasn't really sure how. I tried to just call my energy back to me. I wound up not getting enough sleep and then feeling exhausted later in the day. How do you disperse a psi ball?
Just visualization. Any way that represents dispersement. You could watch it fall apart into a billion tiny pieces, or see it get sucked up into the earth or anything.
You could also just relax your attention to it. It is your attention which breathes life into the manifest world. The more attention you give; the more things solidify, but it depends on you. This is why concentration, is the master key to mind powers.
The constructs which tend to linger, are the ones for which one may have built up habitual attention to & the construct seems to go on autopilot. Though, even then it is still a matter of attention or lack thereof.
Your influence over reality will be in complete congruence with how much impulse control you have:)

It's difficult to lose concentration with something once I've established concentrated contact with that thing. I suppose I should just try to forget about my last action and move on to the next.
