Energy-focusing geometry

This is perhaps slightly related to Arramu's and iJodix's posts on the haven of psions somewhere into the mountains.

On Saturday I was looking at the starry sky and noticed something that I've missed before. It wasn't the stars that were important, but the roof that partially obstructed the view.

I could feel the gable roof focusing energy as it was emerging from the ground. As it focused the energy, it created a sort of vacuum (actually dense energy field), which sucked out even more energy. Compared to the surroundings, there seemed to be a distinct upward flow through the building. Noticed how the intensity of the energy flow degraded near the wall. Thought this could be improved by extending the edge of the roof and slightly curving it (which would yield the same kind of rising energy some distance around the building). Further optimization would turn it into a pyramid.

Flat roof, however, does not stimulate upward flow of energy that way. I live in a flat-roofed apartment block and have to manually stimulate the upward flow of energy so that it wouldn't become stale or stagnant.

Previously I had thought energy moved the other way around .. that the roof somehow focused down-flowing energy. But that didn't make feel sense. Or perhaps it depends on the time of the year? Or day-night cycle? I don't know, I didn't notice anything during the day.

Anyway, this way there seems to be logic in wizard towers, wizard hats and what not. It would also make sense why mountain tips might be spots of power.

Experiences, thoughts?

I've read and seen construction using pyramids to focus power. Also the ability for plants to stay alive longer in the center of a pyramid. Very interesting thought to how wizard's hats have their particular shape. I keep thinking how wonderful it would be to have a room designed in such a way that it incorporated a pyramid in the construction and a faraday cage just to shut out all of the electronic noise.

It's all fun and games until you lose an eye; then it's all fun and games in the dark.
