Seems rather dangerous. Who knows what sort of consequences being mesmerized would have in the later stages of life (damage to internal organs, epilepsy, randomly falling out of body, etc.). To me it seemed that in the first video some of the mesmerism masters demonstrated arrogance and disrespect towards the bodies of other people. Whether it's a plant, an animal, a human, an alien, or an energy being, there should always be respect towards them and their forms.

With the disclaimer aside, the video was really impressive. I wonder how it works and if it's somehow related to the unease of looking someone in the eyes (especially when there's a thick field of psi washing around).

That's actually a really important consideration. It's kind of scary. I know I sound whiny by saying this all the time but I would love to have someone train with me and have them put me into exotic states of mind so I could train in them.

I'm not sure I would agree to having someone else put me into exotic states of mind. With a free sudo, who knows what they would install into the mind.

As long as it's someone you can trust I don't really see it as being brave. I do find going to strange people and having them do past life regressions as brave considering they're putting you into different states of consciousness and could easily plug something into your psyche. And here I am considering doing a regression with someone that was recommended to me at work. I'm not sure what I want to get out of a regression at this point but it wouldn't be a waste to at least experience doing it this once if I were to never do it again.

Have you considered the possibility that some doors don't close once you open them; that there may not be an on/off switch? If it has not come to you in the natural course; it may harm you & others. Even speaking as someone with many years of training prior to all these changes; it has mostly ruined my life. I'm sure if you are bullheaded, you may eventually find an irresponsible person that is willing to give you what you are asking for, but think carefully...

I have considered this for quite a while and I agree to a large degree. My thoughts are obviously nothing compared to personal experience. What I would like is a controlled environment. Where the end result would be constant ability being on but being able to taper the flow down to a trickle whenever necessary for basic life function. I believe it is possible and yes it is definitely a risk. My main desire though is to open my third eye vision so that I can see what it is that I'm doing in all other aspects of psychic training. Just as that individual may be able to open the ability I don't see why they couldn't do the opposite. Knowing that everyone is different and has varying levels of ability the entire idea is 100% risk. The issue though is that without risk we won't progress whether it's on our own or with help. The fact we are pursuing psychic abilities tells me that we are all bullheaded because it's all risk even at the lowest levels. Lol.

Hi Pierre i'm undertaking Dr. Paret's magnetism and fascination course online. What I found fascinating in fascination and mesmerism is that contrary to regular hypnotism in fascination there did not seem to be any contact with the conscious mind in terms of words and spoken communication. Whilst in hypnotism it seems to be me that the conscious mind of the subject is engaged through the pendulum, in mesmerism there seems to be the use of Psi.
