Many of you have probably experienced the dark blue, dark violet or black mist in dreams / astral projection. Perhaps also on some psychokinesis experiments.
Any ideas about what it might be, what it does, how it could be used and what kind of dangers it might pose?
Today morning a couple of basic concepts clicked together and I think I realized something about the dark veil.
The last few times I had an astral projection I was getting pelted with a kind of darkness with what felt like sand from a sand storm. It was not a good feeling. Is that what youre talking about? I figure it is because of an energetic state I have or something is oppressing the astral.

That's an interesting experience.
Not exactly what I had in mind but it could very well be the same thing in a different form.

OrderedChaos, I had a sand storm experience the first time I tried to visit Mars out of body. Back then I had the feeling that someone had setup a psi barrier; I'm stronger now though, no barriers:)
Sussch, my experience of the field that Steve Richards, mentions in books is a bit different I guess. Though, I get down like any average person from time to time; I've never ad a lasting issue with depression. My experience & observation of this field, is that it's a kind of plasma, or proto matter, which solidifies relative to attention. Both perspectives can be true of course, but mine seems to have less emotional association:)

I've gotten the impression that it's the golden veil / mist that unites, sticks together and forms matter at attention. I haven't experimented enough with it yet (and haven't seen through it), though.
Hmm .. now that I think about it, Steve Richards did have some stories of people enveloping themselves in the golden veil as well.
To me it seems that both veils induce emotions until one has learned to see through the veils.
