I found this old interview with Robert Monroe. It's pretty funny how nervous the interviewers & audience were, but you can tell that they're into it:)

My first memory I think was when I was born. My mother told me my name, and I understood her. What was most peculiar about the memory was that I remember watching my mother holding me, as if I were an onlooker within the room.
